story

I have always loved reading and thankfully so do my children. We have storytime every night and often during the day the kids will be seen reading a book.  Joshua decided he would read to himself tucked up on mummy’s chair. He looked so cute ,I had to take a photo ot two!

A friend gave me this quote and I used extra-large orange brads to attach it. the saying is so true Joshua has the best daddy in the world!

Anyone who knows me knows I love flowers and it is rare for me to scrap a page that doesn’t have a flower on it somewhere (hard to do on boys pages lol)

I recently scrapped a double page of the photos of all the flowers I was blessed to receive when I had Joshua. the flowers were beautiful and I now have the page on my craft room wall to brighten my day everyday.

I hope they brighten your day!

At the stamp camp we had the very talented Jan  show us how to make these very cute boxes. After making the first one I thought they would make great christmas/ ‘thank you’ presents for the teachers so I made another in christmas paper.

thanks for dropping by. I will post the boxes we made tomorrow.

I have spent the weekend at the Stamparoo’s Stamp Camp and had a wonderful time. On the Saturday we had 3 different classes  run by some very talented stampers.  We spent the morning making an album using a half packet of Stampin’ Up!s “I wish” christmas scrapping kit. Thanks Lou you did a great job teaching us all.

Here is the end result:

hope this inspires you.

Will be back with more pictures of the other projects later

I have another Christmas stamp a stack tonight so I had to come up with 12 more cards.

here are three of them:1

This card background is done using a baby wipe with ink refill drops on it and swiped across glossy paper.

2

Teh tree on this card is actually 3 trees stamped and cut out then joined to make it 3 d. unfortunately the photo doesn’t show it well.

3

I used up my scraps of paper by punching out the labels in different patterns.

My friend Marcia who has the online store The Stamp Spot is having her 2 blogaversary so on her personal blog “White with one” she is giving away some blog candy! She is an amasing scrapbooker and card maker and very insiprational so check out her store and blog.

here is a picture of the candy! marcia's blog candy

It closes 4th Oct so be quick.

Two more pages of my DD’s birthday. Her family party and getting her present from us and her dad.

family 10th

I used Me & My big Ideas patterned paper for these pages. I wanted to keep them simple and let the patterned paper do the work!

10!

My last page from the scrapathon. Joshua hurt his finger and had his first bandaid. Of course it had to be a wiggles bandaid. It lasted on his finger for about 2 mins just long enough for me to take a photo then the cut was forgotten but the bandaid had to go!
