I thought I had better use some of the new Designer series paper from SU. I have struggled with the new in colours probably because I loved last years so much. Anyhow I stepped out of my comfort zone and used tangerine tango (orange is not my fav colour) and pacific point ( I do like this one) I still find it hard to embellish boys pages probably because I love flowers and use them a lot but they don’t always look right on a boys page however the new buttons from SU worked well.

Earlier this week I actuallly sat and tried to use up scraps and some photos from the pile on my desk. This is the result for my daughters album.
I used last years scrapping kit: crew kids girl and a mix of chipboard letters which I decorated with stickers after they had been inked. A quick and easy page.

Oniesha’s school excursion was to the Zoo and Ian offerd to drive the bus. She was so excited that Ian was the bus driver!

This is where we spent the first week of our honeymoon! Yallingup a beachside town in the south west of WA. A wonderful adults only resort. We told no-one where we were going but of course we can’t go anywhere without the DH knowing someone, so when we walk into the dinning room on the first morning, who should be sitting there but one of his bosses! After 5 years I am now very use to it!

Oniesha had a great time taking photos of us at the tree top walk. She wanted to get a photo of us kissing. (I guess because it was our honeymoon) Some were a bit blurry but they worked for this page! I overlaid the printed vellum over the most blurry picture.

Who would have thought I would have pink as my colour for my wedding (I am so a blue and green person ) but Oniesha wanted a pink dress for the wedding so pink it was. It was a beautiful day the middle of winter and although it was cold it didn’t rain at all.

Its hard to say now that ‘v is for very good friends’ because its not the case anymore but at the time the event occured and I scraped this page, it was true. I was very happy with my little clipboard with a copy of the questions asked and answered given.

This was a hard letter to come up with a title for. I decided that this particular year was the most unique year I had ever had, thus the title Unique Year!
I asked my DH to write for me some of the things that had changed for him during this year and I did the same and put them in the pockets I created on the page.

I saw this page in a magazine and loved the idea of recording what we watched on the TV at that moment and how it was different for each member of the family, so I scraplifted it! Some of it has changed 5 years later but some things have stayed the same. (I think we will always be CSI& Stargate fans and Dr Who rates high when it is actually on)

After a many years of not looking after myself I decided I needed to get back to my healthy weight. So I started walking and eating right but still couldn’t shift all the weight so I went to sure-slim. It was the hardest thing I have done but it worked! 12 kg gone in 3 months. It was great to be a size 12 again from my wedding day!
