This will be my last post. I am so wanting to focus on scrapbooking and I find this takes up so much time that I could be using to scrap or spend time with my kids so I am signing off! . thanks for your comments and encouragement.

Joshua turned 3 this month and he is obsessed with trains so it went without saying he had to have a train cake. I was introduced to a great kitchen shop and discovered they hire out cake tins. So I hired a 3D train cake tin and tried my luck. I was so pleased with the result. A friend lent me a piping bag and I tried dream whip for the first time too. Oh the potential for a disaster all these first time trying but it worked! I couldn’t belive it the cake cooked like it should have and didn’t stick and after waiting 4 hours for it to cool and three hours of decorating , I had a Thomas train cake! what was the best part was half way thru Joshua’s gets excited as he realises its Thomas the train!
Here are some photos:
Soon I will be able to get back to scrapping. yet another year has past and I am so far behind……

Anyone who knows me knows I love flowers and it is rare for me to scrap a page that doesn’t have a flower on it somewhere (hard to do on boys pages lol)
I recently scrapped a double page of the photos of all the flowers I was blessed to receive when I had Joshua. the flowers were beautiful and I now have the page on my craft room wall to brighten my day everyday.

I hope they brighten your day!

Here are 2 little gifts we received at the Stamparoo’s Camp, made by the talented Pat Carr. She does amazing things with our Stmapin’ Up! punches.

the penguin had a chocolate for its tummy and the Santa was full of homemade slice.
A close up of Santa:

I have spent the weekend at the Stamparoo’s Stamp Camp and had a wonderful time. On the Saturday we had 3 different classes run by some very talented stampers. We spent the morning making an album using a half packet of Stampin’ Up!s “I wish” christmas scrapping kit. Thanks Lou you did a great job teaching us all.
Here is the end result:

Mojo Monday turned 100, so all of last week they had a sketch each day. So I thought I should try and use at least some of the sketches. Here is the sketch for Tuesday day 2:

And here is the Christmas card:

I used SU very vanilla, Ridinghood Red and choc chip cardstock, always artichoke grosgrain ribbon, ski slope designer series paper from the spring mini and a bit of kindy glitz.
I love the Mojo Monday sketches especially as I don’t have to have it done on Monday

Again these were inspired by splitcoast. What a wonderful source of inspiration! I used the Merry Christmas Mate stamp set, I love that there is not a snowflake in sight in this set. Given it is usually over 30 degrees C here on Christmas day it has always seem bizarre to me to send my friends cards with snow scenes on them and I don’t have relatives in the northern hemisphere! Anyway here is Santa surfing and instead of reindeer we have kangaroos! ( no they don’t jump down the main roads here, most know to keep away from cars lol)
I have coloured Santa with watercolour pencils and a blender pen, and the kangaroo is coloured using the water coloured crayons and blender pen. My nestibilities were pulled out to create the circles. Faux stitching using my paper piercer and white gel pen, add some designer series paper form our spring mini and some ribbon and two more cards were made!
