With christmas on the way and a 12 christmas card workshop coming up. I spent the best part of yesterday making these christmas cards.

Some worked out great, others I wonder what I was thinking….

I really like how this one turned out. Here is WA it is usually very hot on christmas day and many of us spend the day cooling down in the pool or at the beach. I only just got this set and now I am glad I did. Not very traditional but very Australian!
I am not one for snowflakes probably because that is just christmas here, however these fitted perfectly into the circle on the dashing paper. Also you have to have glitter for Christmas so out came the kindy glitz. So much easier than glue and glitter.
I wanted to show how you can make different cards using the same supplies. SO here is card 1
And card 2 just used a different stamp from the same set.
This was completely cased from a fellow SU demo however I couldn’t be bothered pulling out my embossing gear (slack I know but it was late last night) so I stamped the tree then drew over it with my white wax crayon and then sponged the white card with certainly celery to match the card stock. It doesn’t show well in the photo but looks good on the card in real life.
Of course I had to pull out my cuttlebug and play with the Christmas embossing folder!
And another one!
Not sure I like this one but couldn’t waste the sheet of embossing card.
This didn’t quite work the way I  wanted but still looks ok.
Well this one was not what I had in mind. I can’t work out what I don’t like about it but it didn’t work. Oh well…

The other cards I have selected from my swap collection so hopefully everyone coming will be happy with at least a few of them.
